Camping Karavomilos Beach is located 1 km. from Sami, on the road between Sami and Karavomilos.

You can reach Sami:

• from Italy :
  during high season directly by ferry from several Italian ports to Sami
• from the mainland:
  daily service between Patra – Sami
  Astakos – Sami
  Killini – Poros (25 km. from Sami)

• from Igoumenitsa or generally from Northern Greece :
  by road to Nidri or Vasiliki on Lefkas ( there is a bridge between the mainland and Lefkas) and from there by ferry to Fiskardo (45 km. from Sami)
• from Zakynthos:
  daily service between Skinari in the north of Zakinthos to Pessada
• from Ithaka:
  daily service between Pisaetos–Sami and Vathi–Sami

Olympic Airlines has daily flights from Athens to Kefalonia, and several times per week flights from other destinations.


During summer it is possible to fly to Kefalonia with charterflights from many countries.

It is also possible to travel from Athens (KTEL Busstation Kiffisou) to Sami by coach through Patras.
